D.O.C on the Deck - The Cambium Deck Party

The Cambium came alive for D.O.C on the Deck - a relaxed autumn afternoon celebrating the official launch of our refurbished deck at Manna Terrace, held on Saturday 18 April 2026.

In collaboration with D.O.C Gastronomia Italiana, the event brought together woodfired pizza, homemade gelato, Italian-inspired cocktails, live DJ, kids-silent disco and family-friendly experiences in a vibrant yet easy-going setting on the Mornington Peninsula.

Guests made their way down the driveway on foot for a relaxed arrival experience, taking in the surroundings, or jumped on the buggy for a fun added bonus that kids (and parents!) loved.

From midday through to the late afternoon, the deck came alive with guests settling in with friends and family to enjoy long, unhurried moments in the autumn sun. D.O.C served up their much-loved woodfired pizzas and gelato throughout the day, while the bar featured Italian-inspired cocktails and beverages available to enjoy on the deck. A live DJ set the tone across the afternoon, creating a laid-back atmosphere that carried through the entire event.

A highlight of the day was the dedicated Kids Silent Disco, designed as a fun, high-energy experience for the final Saturday of the school holidays. Kids enjoyed a 90-minute session complete with wireless headphones, dancing, smoke-machines and guided fun from experienced disco hosts, while parents relaxed nearby and took in the atmosphere.

The response to the new deck was everything we had hoped for - a space designed for connection, celebration, and slow afternoons spent well. Families, friends, and children moved through the grounds with ease, enjoying music, food, and the natural surrounds of The Cambium.

D.O.C on the Deck marked the beginning of a new chapter for Manna Terrace, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the space for the first time. It was a true reflection of what this deck was created for - community, atmosphere, and time well spent together.
