On Saturday 2nd August 2025, we were delighted to host 'Truffle to Table - A Forager’s Feast'. An unforgettable collaboration between The Cambium, Red Hill Truffles, and Quealy Winemakers.
The weather was nothing short of perfect as guests embarked on a private truffle hunt through the scenic orchard of Red Hill Truffles. With baskets in hand and noses to the ground (courtesy of our expert truffle dogs), the group gathered their finds in high spirits as the sun set, before returning to The Cambium for an evening of fireside warmth and indulgence.
Under a clear night sky, guests enjoyed the perfect pairing of local wines and canapés in great company by the fire pit. The evening continued in our private dining room, where chefs Teresa Oates and Carolina D’Angelo presented an exceptional three-course truffle-infused menu. Each dish was thoughtfully paired with wines from Quealy Winemakers, elevating the experience into something truly special. Kath Quealy, from Quealy Winemakers, shared stories behind each wine, offering insight into the winemaking process and the local terroir. Teresa and Carolina also spoke passionately about their love for truffles and the inspiration behind the dishes, adding a personal and memorable touch to the experience.
